10,000 unique hits in less than a month!

It's been less than a month since we started measuring the visitors on the GMR. We have seen some outstanding results. We have had over 10,000 unique hits, 50,000 page views, 22,000 clicks on 340 weblinks and over 100 members. This is quite an achievement. We have more features planned which we should be able to add shortly however we are currently busy on other projects. Once we have them out of the way I'll be able to more and more new features! |
Updated Most Visited Listing

I changed the "Most Visited" listing so it shows the most popular website since the last 5 days. This means that all website are on even ground and the listing is more relevant to what is popular at the time. Previously the listing showed the most visited from all time, so new sites couldn't really catch up unless they were ultra popular. I also changed the "Recent Additions" listing to only show the last 5 added sites as we're not recieving enough site to warrant having 10. Enjoy :) |
Search System Upgraded

So the search before wasn't very good as it would search for your search term as a whole instead of breaking up the words and trying to find individual words in a search term. So I fixed this so you are now more likely to find what you need. For best results keep your search terms pretty broad. If you get too many results then narrow it down by using more accurate search terms. Also I have added a new miscellaneous category to suit all the Game Maker related content that doesn't fit in the other categories ie. blogs, eZines etc. Enjoy! |
